Polyester enclosures

Polyesters are polymers which include ester binds in their main chain.
The most important representatives of polyester which is used as thermoplastic substances are Polyethylenterephthalat (PET) and Polybutylenterephthalat (PBT). Strictly spoken, polycarbonat is also
a thermoplastic polyester. In the plastics engineering polycarbonat
is counted as a seperate product quality.

Thermoplastic polyester can be characterised through a high stiffness and stability, high dimensional accuracy, good wear properties, excellent light resistance and electrical properties.
